Laser Marking Machine Q&A

Practical answers to common questions about materials, marking results, machine configurations, and technical support.

What materials can laser marking machines mark?+

Depending on the laser source, our machines can mark a wide range of materials. Metal applications include stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, anodized aluminum, brass, copper, coated metals, metal nameplates, tools, and industrial parts. Non-metal applications include plastics, silicone, rubber, acrylic, glass, ceramics, PCBs, coated packaging, and selected electronic components. Share your material and desired result with us, and we can recommend a suitable configuration.

Which laser power should I choose?+

A 20W or 30W machine is a practical choice for standard logos, serial numbers, QR codes, and nameplates. Higher-power systems are better for faster production, deeper engraving, and more demanding metal applications.

Can the machine mark curved or cylindrical parts?+

Yes. A rotary attachment can be added for rings, tubes, cups, shafts, and other cylindrical parts. Let us know the part diameter and length so we can match the right rotary fixture.

What is the standard marking area?+

A 110 × 110 mm field lens is a common configuration. Larger 200 × 200 mm and 300 × 300 mm areas are also available when required, and the right choice depends on your part size, marking detail, and production workflow.

Do you provide software and after-sales support?+

Yes. The machine is supplied with English software, operating guidance, and remote technical support. We can also provide sample testing and configuration advice before you place an order.

How do I set up automatic serial number incrementing?+

Use the serial-number or dynamic-text setting in the marking software. Enter the starting number, choose the increment value, and set the number of digits or leading zeros if required. The software will then advance the number automatically after each marking cycle. Our team can provide a step-by-step setup guide and remote assistance.
